i) We do not publish contributions if their content is discriminative or prejudiced against any creed, race or religion.

ii) If a contribution has a negative reflective reflection on a third party, it is essential that its author provide the third partys email or other contact details so as to enable us to offer them the right of a reply. If this is not provided we will not accept the contribution.

iii) We reserve the right to edit any written communication sent to us if used for publication.

iv) We will not link to any site , commercial or otherwise that we view as contravening the principals in i) above. Where such a link already exists it will be removed OR blocked without any notice given.

These may be sent to us for possible publication. They will be considered on their relevance if they comply with the adjacent   'Editorial Policy'.

Link Exchanges with Euromost

We have a specific criteria for the exchange of links between euromost .info and other sites. Any other site wishing to propose a link should read sections i) & iv) of the adjacent editorial policy and then refer to these criteria which is published on our Advertising Page.

The birth of www.euromost.info

euromost arose following a visit to Prague in 2001. See 'Jan Palach' on the Prague Page. This trip awoke us to the numerous attractions of Central & Eastern Europe & The Baltic States. For the next three years we travelled around making repeated visits to the Czech Republic, during which we concieved the idea of establishing an information web-site for visitors to Prague during the summer of '03. By the autumn we had decided that the site should include several other cities within eastern europe.

By early 2004 we were no longer able to justify to ourselves or our families and friends the time and amount of time and money we were spending abroad conducting research!. In May 2004 the admittance to the EU of nine more member states -  (mainly from the former eastern block)  drew a great deal of attention in the media to there being other parts of europe well worth visting. By this time we were aware of plans by several 'main players' in the airline industry to start flights to this part of the world. Because of this we decided to launch 'The Euromost Travel Guide To Central & Eastern Europe & Baltic States.

Further research trips followed inter dispersed with attempts to present the information and knowledge we had accquired on user friendly website. Attempts to establish a semblance of order were thwarted by technical difficulties and chaos ensued.

By May 2205, in the middle of all this, this unfinished site had been found by various search engines & within weeks accredited with numerous page one rankings. New visitors to the site have increased month by month with a high percentage saving the site in their favourite lists and even more returning regularly. It now is easily found and page one ranked in leading search engines world wide and its content continues to expand.

Wanted City & Travel Correspondents

If you live in any city we feature and would like to send us information, news, about your city - its culture, music scene or life in general we will try to publish it. We are also looking for a voluntary correspondents who want to make occasional contributions to these pages on these subjects. The Objectives Of www.euromost.info

First and foremost we aim to offer the most comprehensive information site on Central & Eastern Europe and The Baltic States on the wold wide web.

We are a independent commercial operation committed to protecting our status as an information site by restricting the amount of advertising displayed. Please see our advertising page.

We have endeavoured to make the information and advice availble easily acessible. Thus the main site indexes on the Home Page & The Air Travel Page list the cities and countries featured alphabetically even though individual cities are located on their national country page.

Each National page includes as much of the information availble as it is logistically possible to include. Where it is not possible to do this as with The National Rail Networks we have provided a link to a communal page.

The external links offered we hope are the most informative links availabe on the featured subject. The exceptions to this principle are the official tourist board links which are included because of their status. Where these links are below par we have endeavoured to offer suitable alternative sites. We have linked to other sites who's information content is useful even if aesthetically they could be better.

The page widths are set at width which will mean that 98% of visitors to the site will not have to use the horizontal scroll bars.
