easyJet has launched two new routes with new Airbus 320 from Liverpool John Lennon Airport easyJet, the North West's favourite, today introduced a brand new Airbus 320 aircraft to its base at Liverpool John Lennon Airport which will operate its new routes to Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. The new route to Fuerteventura, which launched on Monday 2 November, will provide a three times weekly service with prices starting from as little as £39.99 (one-way, including taxes). The new route to Lanzarote which launches on Tuesday 3 November, will provide a three times weekly service with prices starting from as little as £40.99 (one-way, including taxes).
Ryanair has announced that it will open four new routes to/from Bordeaux starting 17th December 2009 which will at last offer consumers and visitors to the Bordeaux region competition, choice and very low airfares compared to the high fares and unfair fuel surcharges of Air France.
The four new routes from Bologna, Brussels (Charleroi), Edinburgh and Porto to Bordeaux will deliver over 200,000 passengers p.a. at Bordeaux and will sustain 200 new jobs in the area. Ryanair Announces New Italian Bases At Bari & Brindisi
From 14th January 2010, Ryanair will base two aircraft at Bari and open 9 new routes (16 in total) These new routes are Ryanair’s 9 new routes from Bari to Brussels (Charleroi), Cagliari, Dusseldorf (Weeze), Genoa, Karlsruhe – Baden Baden, Paris (Beauvais), Trapani, Treviso and Valencia. These services will increase Ryanair’s traffic at Bari to 1.2m passengers p.a. and sustain 1,200 jobs at Bari Airport
On 4th February it will base one aircraft at Brindisi and open four new routes (9 in total). These newr outes are from Brindisi to Barcelona (Girona), Eindhoven, Trapani and Treviso will begin from 4th February and increase Ryanair’s traffic at Brindisi to 650,000 passengers p.a. which will sustain 650 local jobs.

Jet2.com Doubles Low Cost Sharm El Sheikh Route For Summer 2010
Jet2.com, the only low cost airline to operate flights to Sharm El Sheikh from Manchester Airport, has today announced it will increase flights to the Egyptian hotspot throughout 2010 and bookings can be made as of today. The frequency will double to twice weekly with flights departing on a Thursday and Sunday, allowing Jet2.com to offer customers seven, ten and fourteen night breaks from Manchester Airport. This further commitment to Jet2.com's base at Manchester Airport and the route to Sharm El Sheikh builds upon the success of the route launched in 2008.
Philip Meeson, boss of Jet2.com, said: "When we announced the first low cost service to Sharm El Sheikh from Manchester in 2008, we were confident of its popularity but never envisaged such overwhelming demand. "As a result, we have increased frequency for the 2010 season to meet demand giving the people of Manchester and surrounding areas guaranteed sunshine next year." New Jet2 Routes From Leeds Bradford
Jet2.com today announced its summer schedules for 2010 from Leeds Bradford Airport as the airline revealed its busiest month since it started flying over six years ago. There will be three new routes including Bergerac and longer haul searing summer sun choices, Sharm el Sheikh and Corfu, all on sale now and starting to fly in May 2010. Philip Meeson, Jet2.com boss said, "It's clear that everyone feels they need a bit of sun in the summer. Despite great weather predictions from the Met office this year it has been pretty dismal here in the UK. We've seen a huge increase in bookings this August and it looks like people don't want to be caught out again next year. We've got some great new destinations coming on sale, which will make sure people can at least guarantee some summer sun." Ryanair Introduces 39 Routes To The Canary Islands
Ryanair, has it will open 39 new routes to/from the Canary Islands this winter starting in October. This will comprise of 16 new routes to Gran Canaria, 15 to Lanzarote and 8 to Tenerife (now 16 in total) as Ryanair offers competition, choice and the lowest airfares to/from the Canary Islands.
These new routes will bring 2 million new passengers, create 2,000 new jobs and deliver a visitor spend of over €386m for the Islands. Ryanair’s big expansion in the Canary Islands is due to “zero” tourist taxes in Spain and the 100% discount on airport charges this winter. .
