Public Transport In Salzburg
Public Transport in Salzburg consists of 8 tram routes and 10 bus routes. Services finish at 23.00 Information on the services and timetables (in German only) are available from this website. Single tickets cost 1.60€, day passes cost 3.40€ and weekly tickets 11€.
The Salzburg Card
The City of Salzburg offers visitors the Salzburg Card which offers free admission (once only) to all the city's attractions and unlimited free use of all of Salzburg's public transport including the Castle's funicular railway, and Untersberg Cable car and panorama boat. It also offers discounts for cultural events, tours and excursions.
The Salzburg Card is available at Salzburg Airport Salzburg Information Offices, ticket shops and newspaper kiosks. Prices are: 1 day 23, 2 days 31€ and 3 days 36€.
Children between 6 and 15 receive a 50% discount on these prices. Children five and under travel for free in Salzburg.
