Bus Services To And From Gdansk Airport  The 21 bus runs from the airport in to central Gdansk, and the estimated journey time is 45 minutes. The bus fare should be 3zl if purchased from a news stand  billety or kiosk. If you buy your ticket from the bus driver then you will be charged about 3.40 zl.

Shuttle Bus Services To and From Gdansk Airport :  The shuttle takes you directly from the airport to the city centre at a quicker time of around 25-30 minutes. You must however pay more for the privilege of using the shuttle bus with a ticket costing 10 zl, and being purchased on the bus itself. The shuttle starts and finishes at Gdansk’s main Railway station in the centre of Gdansk.

Taxis At Gdansk Airport  Beware of  illegal taxis touts who may approach you immediately outside the security area. These drivers will overcharge you for their supposed services. The legitimate Taxi drivers will be available at the Arrivals hall. These drivers should give you fixed quotes of about 50-70 zl. After 9 pm, they may ask for as much as 60-70 zl. Neptun are the only cab company which are licensed to sit outside the airport waiting for potential customers.

Buses Services In Gdansk The buses in Gdansk serve both the city centre and the suburban areas. Bus services start at about 5.30 am and finish at around 11 pm.

Night Bus Services In Gdansk The Night buses have 13 routes operating throughout the city. Most routes operate from about 11 pm till 5 am in the morning.

Tram And Bus Tickets In Gdansk A single bus for tram fare cost you about 3PL.  Bus tickets should be bought in advance from a Kiosk. Gdansk have a 24 hour ticket  which can be used all day and costs 9.10 zl and is valid on all buses, trams and Night Bus services.  There  is a 24 hr ticket (9.10 zł) valid on all trams, buses during the day and on night buses.

Train Services In Gdansk If you are travelling to areas outside of Gdansk then you are best off using the commuter trains. The trains run every 10-12 minutes from 6 am till 7 pm. . Trains after 7 pm are far less frequent. If you are travelling to areas outside Gdansk The Kolejka, commuter train, runs about 10 – 12 minutes between 06.00am and 19.0O. After 19.00 the service is much less frequent.

Tickets are available from ticket machines at station as well as some kiosks  Before boarding the train each ticket must be stamped in the yellow boxes on the platform. If you are travelling from outside Gdansk then you must  purchase a ticket from the guard at the front of the train  If you are outside Gdansk and unable to buy a ticket before boarding the train you must purchase a ticket from the guard at the front of the train.
