Bus Services To And From Salzburg Airport  Bus services run from the Airport to Salzburg’s Hauptbanhof  main Railway station. Lines 2, 8 and 27  run to and from the Airport. Bus line 2 runs daily at intervals of 10 to 20 minutes  and every 20 minutes on Sunday’s and public holiday’s. The estimated journey time is 20 minutes.  The number 27 bus runs at 15 to 20 minute intervals every day and the approximate journey time is 40 minutes. Bus Line 8 runs between Monday and Saturday  every ten minutes with an approximate journey time of 43 minutes. Tickets cost €2.10 for adults and €1.10 for kids.

Taxis To And From Salzbug Airport The Taxi ride is likely to take between 15 and 20 minutes. if  the journey starts from the taxi stand at Salzburg’s main railway station or the Airport terminal. it should cost around €18

Bus Services In Salzburg  There are 10 bus routes in total. The network of city buses is called the Stadtbus, numbers 1-8 are electric and 20-27 are fuel powered   Services begin about 5.30 am and finish at around 11.30 pm. The buses run at ten minute intervals.

Night Bus Services In Salzburg  There is night buss service which runs until 12.45 pm on Friday and Saturday nights and connects with the late Lokalbahn trains departing from The Hauptbanhof station.

Tram Services In Salzburg  The city has 8 tram routes in total which operate from about 5.30 am till 11.30 pm.

S-Bahn Rail Services In Salzburg  Salzburg has an S-Bahn train system with four routes [S1, S2,S3,S11]. S-Bahn trains depart from the city’s main station every 30 minutes. S1 is a suburban line which runs to the famous Silent night chapel in Oberndorf, a journey which takes about 25 minutes.

Bike Hire In Salzburg There are many bike lanes across Salzburg and it’s a good way of seeing all this beautiful  city has to offer. Bike rentals cost about 7 Euro’s for a few hours.

Rail Services To And From Salzburg  The Hauptbanhof is Salzburg’s main rail station. Trains from here regularly serve Innsbruck, Munich and Frankfurt in Germany.
