Helsinki Clubbing Overview

Helsinki night clubs are famous for its thriving Rock scene but also has many other venues catering to all different tastes such as Jazz and commercial Pop music. Finnish natives are advocates of the Resto-Bar scene which means that many of their finest restaurants transform in to Night clubs after hours. In the winter when the weather is  freezing and dark many of their venues close a lot earlier than in the summer months.

The rock venues tend to offer the customer better value for money. The majority of the bars and clubs are located to the Southwest of the City centre in  Kamppi and Punavuori. Overall I would describe the Finnish capital as  satisfactory clubbing destination but mainly for fans of the heavy metal and Hardcore Rock genres.
